Improving Salesforce Efficiencies
Our client has a mobile salesforce of more than 350 people spread across the country, with various levels of network connectivity. They must also be able to perform with no connectivity.
Volumes are high, leaving no room for inefficiencies.
Managers at various levels need to be able to view effectiveness and compare personnel and teams at a glance. Some managers would need these graphs and figures at their fingertips, anywhere in the world.
Triangle implemented a sales activity tracking system, including integration with quotes from within SAP, offline planning and activity for use on the road and a one-click method of tracking phone activity.
Synchronisation with the central database is automatic whenever a salesperson connects to the company network.
Order Processing and Inventory Management - MOD
Our client is the Ministry of Defence - Defence Storage and Distribution Agency (DSDA).
When looking to replace their workflow and database solution for handling orders for paper based products, the Ministry of Defence team wanted to enhance both their efficiency and quality of service. They needed to look at both automation and their fundamental working practices.
Triangle introduced a completely redesigned application to automate processes generically rather than relying on individuals having specialist knowledge. The software integrates processes and activities, rather than focusing on specialist functions, allowing efficient operational procedures to be designed around the natural flow of work.
Triangle Software is now the primary supplier of inventory systems to the MOD for its paper based products.

Bus Stop Panel Printing - NCT
Our client is Nottingham City Transport - the principal bus operator in Greater Nottingham.
Whenever the schedule of a bus service changes it can impact on many of the bus stops along a route. The process of creating a new timetable sheet at each bus stop was extremely labour intensive. The manual effort required meant it was difficult to print new panels for individual stops, to incorporate new advertising or even just to replace damaged or incorrect panels.
Nottingham City Transport felt it critical that their customers have accurately updated information as quickly as possible, presented in an attractive and easy to understand format.
Triangle Software developed a new application that takes the revised schedule information in an industry standard data format and shows which bus stops require new panels. The new software can then print any new panels and include a stop-specific timetable in a flexible template format.
It is now possible to print out accurate new panels for any bus stop at the touch of a button.
Performance Measurement
Our client is the leading supplier of heavy building materials in the UK.
Triangle worked closely with the business and the IT department to develop a flexible system of measuring the business using KPIs or Key Performance Indicators.
The solution merges data extracted from SAP with that collected in the field to feed a specially designed graphing and reporting application.
All levels of management now have a clear picture with which to improve business effectiveness and efficiency by measuring performance against plans.
Logistics and Billing
Our client is a not-for-profit company established by the leading producers in the electrical and electronics industry in order to meet their statutory obligations under the WEEE Directive.
Triangle developed a web based application linked to a custom built back office system to manage the loads of materials for recycling being transported by hundreds of private haulage companies around the UK.
Every registered company can now record trips and loads and expect to receive accurate payment, while the client can fulfill its government reporting responsibilities.
Category Management and Automated Store Replenishment
Our client is a leading supplier of entertainment product to retailers, both high street and non-traditional.
Their business depends on keeping stores full of the right quantity of the right product at all times.
Triangle developed and implemented an innovative way to manage the process using hand-held merchandising units and complex replenishment rules within the custom built back office system to keep our client ahead of the competition.
